Senior Technician (4 month contract)

PACE Theatre Company are seeking to recruit a theatre technician to play a key role in a small, busy technical department. This temporary role will suit a self-motivated and enthusiastic person with a passion for creating excellence and working in a fast-paced and varied environment. The main responsibilities over the length of the contract will include:

• Reviewing the technical setup in our 151-seat auditorium and rehearsal spaces, reorganising and suggesting changes in time for our summer programme
• Act as the primary lighting technician and designer, venue technician and sound operator where necessary for our programme of in-house performances, including our 40 show programme of summer fest! events, as well as for performances by visiting companies
• Overseeing technical requirements and staff relating to our performances at the Edinburgh Fringe in August 2019
